Graduation Celebration
On Wednesday evening, May 30th after the 7:00pm service, we will have a party to celebrate birthdays for the month of May and to celebrate the success of everyone who has or will be graduating this Spring.

Shabbach Youth Conference
Our High School Youth Group will be attending the Shabbach youth conference in Myrtle Beach on Friday evening. Please be in prayer for this group to have safe travel and to receive a blessing by participating in the event.
Youth Trip Fund Raising
Our high school youth group “Fusion” is raising money to go on a youth trip to South Carolina in March. They are collecting orders for candles, dips, gift wrap and other items in their sales catalog. The fundraiser ends today and they need your support. If you are interested in placing an order to help them reach their goal, please see one of the high school teens or April Proctor.
Fusion Fund Raising
Our high school youth group “Fusion” is raising money to go on a youth trip in March. They are selling candles, dips, gift wrap and other nice items. If you are interested in placing an order to help support their efforts, please see one of the high school teens or April Proctor. The deadline for the fundraiser is January 29th. Also, the parents of the group members going on the trip need to see April today to turn in their $45 for the trip. For information about the high school youth group, please contact April.
Release Forms
Directly after the morning worship service today, Mary Lyon would like to meet with Alicia, Joy and all parents and children who are going to Junior Talent next Saturday. She has release forms that need to be signed and notarized.
Angel Tree Ministry
This year the Wake Forest Church of God is sponsoring an “Angel Tree” ministry. Pastor Philip has put together a committee to organize this project and with your help also, we hope to give Christmas gifts to children ages birth to 18 years old while sharing the message of Jesus. Please let the Pastor know if you know of children in the church, in your immediate family or in your friends’ families that might need some presents for Christmas. More information will follow next week.

A big Thank You to Tony Powell, the children’s board, all the kids and everyone who came to the concert. The concert went great and Tony did a great job. Thank the Lord for the $453 that was raised for the children’s ministry. Also and most importantly, thank the Lord for the one soul that was saved!

You are invited to share in an evening of testimony and music with our own singer and songwriter, Tony Powell on Sunday, October 23rd at 6:30pm. A love offering will be received to benefit the Children’s Ministry as they work toward their goal of attending Kidsfest in 2012 in Tennessee. Come support our kids and be a part of this special uplifting service.
